ToyBizarro

Doing research for Bizarro Week, I came across a lot of Bizarro action figures and toys, most of them custom-made, and I thought it would be a nice way to wrap up the week. A lot of these deserve your attention.

Official Figures
Just because they were produced by the Capitalist Godhead by Soulless Minions of the Orthodoxy doesn't mean they're not mucho cool!

DC Direct Deluxe BizarroDC Direct Last Son/Adam Kubert Bizarro
DC Direct Batman Series 4 Jokerish Bizarro
DC Direct Alex Ross Justice Series Bizarro
The Superman Animated series Bizarro Bizarro Mini-Mate
HeroClix Bizarro
Custom Figures
Here's the real skinny! I've always wanted to customize action figures, but I would characterize my putty-shaping skills as total crap. These guys are lots better.

By Thunderbolt, a cool Mego figure
By TCM Hitchhiker, a beautiful Mego figure
From Random Acts of Geekery, creator unknown, a Super-Powers Bizarro
By Brechtbug, a nice sculpt
By Ron Peritore, yet another Mego doll (near bottom)
By Joe Acevedo(?), Alex Ross' Legion of Doom Bizarro
Related Figures
Not quite Bizarro-Superman action figures, but Bizarros nonetheless!

By Amy, Bizarro Lois/Stuporwoman
By MenByMckenn, a really neat Bizarro Spider-Man
DC Direct Batzarro
By Marco Fun, a Bizarro skin for Sims (hey, they're practically dolls, right?)
And if Superman was probably usually used as a base for custom Bizarros, what do you make WITH a Bizarro? Answer: The gray Hulk by Moo
Any other Bizarro figures that should by on our collective radar?

Bizarro Krypto. Boy, I would love to see a Bizarro Krypto.

In fact, the only one I can think of off-hand is the li'l Fortress of Solitude three-jawed zoo critter Bizarro liberated in the animated series. Loved that li'l guy.

Wait.. there was that one in some Silver Age Adventure Comics single issue story, come to think about it.

Still.. someone need to really run full tilt with BK.

Bizarro Krypto makes an appearance for sure in the old Who's Who series, under Bizarro World.

Alas, no toys as yet, plush or otherwise.
I've never been much of a Bizarro fan, but this collection looks neat. Each one has its identity while still picturing the same character. Nice, uh? I think I'm rambling. Probably possessed by Bizarro Friday :-P
Okay, okay, I'm outta here.
In Bizarro World, Bizarro toys play with you!
