Task Force X Bonus Retirement Files: Invasion

It's their planet too. Though Amanda Waller did send super-villains into action during the alien invasion of 1988, complete files were lost in the confusion. We know villains were released as per the usual deal, but which ones. Case in point this panel, which features Squad regulars like Black Orchid, Captain Boomerang, Nemesis and Duchess, as well as a few others.
It seems the Flash Rogue known as Heat Wave was part of the team. Ambush Bug is there too, but he may be slumming it, appearing of his own volition to bug writer Keith Giffen. If he WAS held at Belle Reve, then there's every chance that all his mini-series and specials post-Crisis up to that point were delusions and fantasies broadcast from his cell. The question remains: Who are the three others? The Ms. Marvel wannabe. The butterfly dude. The caped shadow. Who are they?

If you have any information on these or other super-villains, call our toll free number (or leave a comment). Any help is appreciated in tracking down these illegally freed convicts.

Waller aside, other super-villains may have escaped during the Invasion.
We'll never really know how many.

My best guess on the butterfly dude would be Killer Moth.

That really does look like Ms. Marvel. Maybe Invasion was more far-reaching than we realized!

Killer Moth is a good guess for that one.
Two theories for the caped shadow:

1. It was the Void. Maybe MacFarlane can now sue for ownership of Sentry!

2. Larry Trainor went into a phone booth when no one was looking. Negative Superman!

Drawing a blank on the blonde. Considered and rejected Shimmer [who doesn't look anything like that, but I vaguely recall someone looking like that running with Mammoth and/or the Fearsome Five], Godiva, and the Yellow Peri.

The caped shaodw looks like Obsidian to me, but this was before he started having supervillain phases, right? Probably it was someone Giffen wanted but editorial rejected at the last minute...Bizarro, maybe?

Whoever the shadow is, he's got gloves, which nixes Bizarro.

FOr me, best part of the Suicide Squad's Invasion part was when Boomerang went to Sidney,Australia, thinking he was a national hero. And an angry mob throw him to the sea, 'cuz he was a national shame!

Oh, and they invited Nemesis to a pub, cuz he saved the world!

those were about the only SS stories I didn't read then.
Can you tell which issues of invasion, they featured?
